A
visit to your home to give you advice on your options, pre-conceptual care,
nutrition etc.

Initial
consultation
An
opportunity to meet with us to discuss the options you have for your pregnancy
and birth.
This consultation will be at your home and at a time convenient to
you and your partner, as it
is important to meet both of you.

Fees
for comprehensive care
This
consists of the booking fee, all antenatal visits and postnatal visits up to 28
days at your
home and attendance during your labour and birth, either at home or
in hospital. Telephone
consultations when needed. A midwife is on call for you
throughout your pregnancy and postnatal
period 24 hours a day. We also give you and your partner the
opportunity to attend one of our
Active Birth Weekends free of charge.
£3450
This can be paid with a non-returnable deposit of £650 at booking,
followed by four instalments
of £700 each, with the final payment due by the 36th week.
Other
services
All screening and diagnostic tests, such as scans and blood tests, can
be arranged through the
NHS or privately.
We do not hold professional indemnity insurance. Currently there is
none available for independent
midwives globally, however, births that take place in hospital are
covered by the NHS Trust's
vicarious liability. We are confident that our best insurance has
always been and will continue to
be good practice. We are able to supply the names of former clients
and Supervisors of Midwives
who are willing to act as referees.
